The Children's Museum is a fun educational place for kid's of most ages. The admission price is $5 with children under 1 free. The hours are 9:30 - 4:30 most days, but they are closed on Mondays in the winter. There are various activities scattered throughout, most hand on and lots of fun. They offer programs both in house and present programs outside at schools etc. I would highly recommend this as a place to take the kids to learn and have fun.
