While randomly driving around downtown Chula Vista, my girls and I decided to try some pizza that we heard about: La Bella Pizza Garden. It's a cozy place. Of course it gets crowded dinner, but I can't blame them. We started with appetizers-- Seasoned Cheese Fries which were superb! And their Jalapeno Poppers, which I found to be similar to other Jalapeno Poppers you can buy at..Jack in the Box (or something like that). When the pizza came, it was FRESH and great! I don't know what's in the cheese or crust, but I'd take this over Pizza Hut anytime!
The service was fine too. Our waitress was there when we needed refills and always checking to see how we were doing. Plus, they have a bar and an upstairs place to hang out. Usually that's where a band plays.
So, if you're bored with nothing to do and hungry, check out La Bella Pizza Garden. The wait may be long come dinner time, but it's worth it.
