When we found out we pregnant with our first baby, we immediately set about to find the best pediatrician in Yuma. We polled several of our friends, who already had children, and the concensus seemed to be Yuma Pediatrics.
We started taking our son to Yuma Pediatrics immediately after he was born. We saw several of the doctors, who were all very good, but we did have our favorites. Dr. Crawford was very good with the children and seemed to have a way about him that immediately would put the child at ease. When he would walk into the room, our son would be so fascinated with him, he would forget to be afraid.
We also really liked Dr. Maki. Dr. Maki was a bit more soft-spoken and not as outgoing as Dr. Crawford, but he was very thorough in his exams, and we felt very confident with his medical advice/guidance.
The only downside with Yuma Pediatrics is that it is a very busy place. Apparently the word has gotten out and a lot of people want to go there. Sometimes it can be a bit difficult to get an appointment with the particular doctor that you want to see at the time you want. That being said, all the doctors we saw were very capable and we felt comfortable with them all.
