I have always banked at a certain major bank in the south that starts with a W where you are nohting but a number. I had to pay to speak to a teller more than 2 times per month. At the teachers CU the tellers all know who I am, they greet me with a smile, and they handle the business at hand with speed and accuracy. I can't believe how happy I have become with this bank. If you or a family member is a teacher you should absolutely take advantage of this benefit...you will never go back to a Corporate bank again. I do maintain my other account with the big bank simply for ATM availability.
