The Broadway Theater on Broadway is the main movie theater in the area. This multi screen theater has more screens than any other. I believe 9 total. The big screens have Dolby Digital and most of the screens are THX certified. This theater plays most of the “adult” (R and PG13) type movies, while the movie theater at the mall plays more of the G and the PG. The prices are average for theaters in the area and they take plastic for those who don’t carry cash. The first movie ever to play at the Broadway was the movie “Heat”. I was lucky enough to go there the first night in business. “Heat” played in on one of the smallest screens in the place (it was the only one ready).
