Porter Street BBQ is located in the south end of Arcata on the corner of 4th and G Street. When you pass this place you cannot miss it. If they are cooking in the BBQ you can smell it and almost taste it. When you make it in the place you have a variety of choices but the specialties are the Tri-tip and the Chicken. My favorite is a tri-tip/chicken combo sandwich. It’s not on the menu but they will make it for you. They have a great toppings bar for you sandwiches and if you sit down you will find trivia cards on the table. If you are on the go, you can get it to go.
