I once heard that the 60 Minutes curmudgeon, Andy Rooney was a frequent customer of Ring’s End Lumber. I’m equally as cranky. I’m not someone who loves to spend a great deal of time in hardware-type stores, but Ring’s End makes things easy which is my major criteria for satisfaction. When I needed a small piece of wood to replace a shelf in my linen closet, the salesman took me into their vast lumber barn and cut it for me from a leftover 2x4. And they refused payment! I don’t know when I’ve encountered nicer people! I now return to them with my business.
