I hired John (the owner) at Village Tavern to cater my wedding in September, and I am so pleased with the level of service I have received. Being impressed with our tasting (the food is yummy -- *not* overcooked, which is important to me, and rare when one is making so many meals) I asked him to cater my wedding shower in July as well, and despite a *very* picky mother, everything went off with out a hitch. The guests raved about the food, atmosphere, and service – and his prices are *so* reasonable as well. Whether you want a great meal out (try the Greek-style calamari) or need someone to cater an event, I highly recommend John and the Village Tavern.
