Being short means that you always have to get things hemmed or fixed so that they fit you “just right”. Because of this, it’s necessary to either figure out how to work a sewing machine or find a good tailor. Since I’m not one who sews, I go to Express Alterations to get most of my hemming done. I’ve brought dresses, pants, and coats to their store and they’ve done a consistently good job and they’re really quick about it. The ladies are professional and very helpful and their work is great.
