Szechwan Palace is a great find. It is located in Playa del Rey, one of the few inexpensive restaurants since it is less than a mile from the beach. The place is tiny but has additional seating in the patio. Parking can be challenging at times since they do not have a parking lot, rather 2 strips that run along the restaurant. If you are an expert at parallel parking then you should have no problems. It is situated right in front of the famous Ballona Marshlands. Prices are cheap for lunch, and they are generous with their dish size. Dinner is approximately double the lunch price, altho you do get double the dish size (less the soup and salad you get at lunch). Service is great. Take out is available for free.
