Variety Club is a non-profit organization that raises money throughout the year to support the care of special needs children. Variety Club provides funding to children's agencies in Eastern Iowa for capital projects, essential medical equipment and special programs. These agencies work with disabled children and youth considered to be more "at risk". Variety Club has granted more than 220 Sunshine Coaches statewide to assist agencies in providing special transportation for these children. The telethon is as widely know as their Sunshine Coaches. A much needed service in the community.
