Old San Juan is my favorite restaurant in Lexington. A family-owned combination restaurant/grocery store offering drive-through, carry-out, or a small in-store dining area, you really can't go wrong with any of their food. The atmosphere is certainly nothing fancy, but you won't care what the place looks like once you taste the food. I prefer the sandwiches, especially the Cubano and Tripleta, along with fried plantains and a mango shake. Yum!
