As far as Liquor stores go, here's nothing particularly special about this one. Their wine selection is fair, they don't have much of a selection of Portuguese wines and they don't carry South African wine.
But they do have a wonderful wine that was highly ranked by Wine spectator and they sell it for $6.99. CONCHA Y TORO Chardonney is a big bottle, and it sells everywhere else for $12.99 and up. I don't think Douglas Wines have any idea of what this wine is worth, and they always keep it in stock.
If you're not a wine fan, or want to try some different beers, they have a good selection of microbrews and international beer. And if they don't have it in stock, they can always order it for you.
