The Thrift Store is named after a woman who was murdered by her boyfriend. All the proceeds go to fund the Madeline's House Battered Women's Shelter. That in its self make this a great store, but when you visit you are almost in awe. Some of the items people have donated are brand new. They can have just about anything you can imagine, from clothing, to furniture to books. The employees greet you as soon as you walk through the door and they say goodbye when you leave. They are also very helpful while your browsing. The prices are always reasonable.
