I took my dog to a basic obedience course at Lucky Dog under Barbara Nicholas and was impressed. The class size was much smaller than other obedience classes I'd participated in with just 4 dogs. We worked inside and outside using positive reinforcement. For more information, I recommend reading the website which provides information on the training philosophy. On the other hand, the class did not help with my problem, a dog who dislikes other dogs. So if you're looking for standard obedience, I'd definitely recommend Lucky Dog but if your dog has behavior issues, you'll most likely need to try something else.
