This is a conveniently located bookstore in the San Diego Hillcrest area. They offer both new and used books, and they also buy back your old books. They bring in a fresh stock of daily inventory for people who like to be surprised. The used books can be picked up with a few coins and are usually in pretty decent shape (no taped-up covers or profanity on the pages). I've found several of the Stephen R. Donaldson "Thomas Covenant The Unbeliever" books there and now have the whole collection, thanks to Budget bookstore. Overall, great book selection and easily beats prices at barnes and noble or tower.
