Minor league baseball in New Haven always seems to struggle, and the Cutters are no anomaly. The stadium is a little on the dilapidated side (you could call it historic, I suppose) and isn't what you'd expect if you frequent more modern minor league stadiums. Crowds are small -- no more than a thousand or so -- but baseball is baseball and the stadium is comfortable if a bit arcane. A Cutters game is fun, but it's certainly not a New Haven hot spot. Doubtful the team will last more than another year or two.
