The Shubert is a taste of Broadway right in New Haven -- and you're spared the 2 hour commute to New York City! The ticket prices reflect this, though -- it isn't cheap. But the theater is gorgeous, the performances are absolutely top-notch, and it comes with all the frills you'd expect from a fancy theater -- the boxes, the balcony, etc. It's a great place, and one of New Haven's cultural treasures. Highly recommended -- definitely take in at least one show there once in a while!
