The Fire Museum in The Royal Rire House located in York is filled with fireman history. There is 200 years of firefighting history within those walls. You will see fire carriages, unifroms, and much more.
Outside of the building is a statue of a rescue. I highly recommend it for families. You can find this treasure on West Market Street. Stop by and see what you can learn.
