Franklin Federal is a great bank if you are trying to build up savings. They have very good interest rates for savings accounts. They do not have checking- only passbook accounts. They are also only open 9-2 on weekday and 4-6 on Fridays. Since they don't have checking or ATM, you have to go to withdraw your money. That makes it a whole lot easier to just leave it there so it can grow!! They also have a very small staff and are very personal.
