Located on the corner of Mission and Industrial in Hayward, the Holiday Bowl has been entertaining the community for years. The towering, lighted sign can be seen for a couple of miles down the road, alerting passers-by about their live bands on Friday nights, or their Karaoke on Saturday evenings, or their $1 bowling from 6 am-10 am Sunday mornings. Okay, so bowling at 6 am on a Sunday morning may sound crazy, but they get the crowds anyway. I guess nobody goes to church or sleeps in on Sundays anymore.
The also have a restaurant with typical diner fare attached to the large bowling alley. And also connected is a separate party room (where the karaoke is usually held) which can be rented out for functions. They don't do a lot of the fancy "rock and roll bowling nights" like some bowling alley's have resorted to in order to attract business. Holiday Bowl lures them in on its own.
