My husband and I have bought several used cars from Hawkeye over the years. It used to be a great place to buy a car if you needed one in a hurry. Recently, though, their customer service has changed. It used to be that you would get great personalized service...not it seems like they are only out there to make a quick buck from the lower income people in town. You used to be able to buy a car and have it paid off in a year. Now their prices are so high that there's no way you could pay it off in a year.
