The Mounds View Community Center is a nice place to go to. There is a large gym, pool tables, a small child area to play in, and many other couches and tables to hang out at or do some work at. I took my son to a homeschooling gym class that is held at this facility. The instructor never spoke with the parents...we were just expected to send our children into the gym. There are many windows to watch the activities from so that was not a problem, but the instructor did not know how to maintain a class. There were way too many children enrolled (around 40-50 K-3 students) and many were not involved or doing the right things. There were some students who were using bad language and others who would push the little ones. A warning note was sent home to the parents but not much was ever said in class to the students. Maybe they need a new instructor.
