Yorktown National Battlefield is an interesting place to go. Admission is cheap, only $5 for a seven-day pass for adults (children under a certain age are free). The visitor's center has several different exhibits on the siege of Yorktown, an orientation film that goes over the history of the battle, and an observation deck that looks out over the battlefield. While Yorktown may not be too much fun for younger children, it's definitely something that every history buff should see. For the cheap admission price, it's well worth a visit.
