Not to be confused with Amherst Books, the Jeffrey Amherst bookshop is near A.J. Hastings and La Veracruzana. This is the last place I would go to downtown to buy books. They don't have many scholarly books and many of their books look like they have been sitting there for a long time and they can't get rid of them.
