No pressure car sales 8/17/2005

Go ahead, breathe a sigh of relief. I went into the dealership looking for a tug of war, a fight to the death (hopefully, my salesman). I was pleasantly surprised. Like all new-car buyers, you go into a dealership armed with inforamtion and your mental "deal-breaker" price, at whcih you'll walk out. I never even got out of my chair. My salesperson was polite, understanding, and did not try and sell me bells & whistles I did not need. He was truly "no pressure" [ I think it's even on his business card]. He was confident that he could give me the best price, and I walked out paying even less than I had been prepared to pay. more
