The Edible School Yard is a project started at Martin Luther King middle school in Berkeley and it's a food and gardening program for the students to not only learn about which foods are healthy but to have hands-on cooking and planting experience. This program is incorporated in their teaching curriculum and students get a lot out of it. The School Yard is available for personal tours and when you check it out, it's really wonderful and beautiful.
