When my son called me from the dealership before he signed a contract for a new car I was more than a little shaken by the numbers he read off to me. I dont claim to be an expert by any means on car buying but the math just did not make me happy as a mother trying to look out for her son! Sure enough when I arrived the salesperson did his best to explain that since the color of Civic my son wanted was 'hard to get' and the extra equipment was 'already installed and couldnt be removed' he would just have to live with the final amount paid being well over $29,000!! I dont think so, lets go is what I said! Young folks buying your first car please beware and know what your are getting yourself into. Dont get caught up in the moment and bury yourself in debt for the latest and greatest new car! Shame on Spreen for trying to bully a young man into what was only best for them! We will be telling everyone that the reputation around Loma Linda is indeed correct for Spreen, crooks one and all.
