People come from all over to go to see the Utah Festival Opera Company at the Ellen Eccles Theater. It is in a fantastic old building that was fully renovated and that creates a perfect atmosphere. The performances are professional and high caliber. If you site in the rear balcony, you can get very inexpensive tickets (often around $20), but there’s not a lot of leg room on the balcony. I’ve seen musicals, plays, and operas here.
