Elizabethtown has a slew of Mexican restaurants. Lucky for me, Mexican food is my favorite! Chalupas is one of the most recent additions to the already large number, It is located where the old Western Steer and Ernesto's restaurants used to be.
The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The service has been excellent. Your drinks stay full, and your food arrives hot.
Every time I have been to Chalupas, there have been numerous families eating there. It has a family friendly environment while having typical Mexican restaurant decorations (ie beer signs, sombreros, and other traditional mexican items).
The food was excellent. Combination dinners cost less than $10 a plate. Dinners such as Carne Asada and Arrachera cost closer to $12 per plate.
They also have weekly drink specials and a karaeoke night every Thursday!
