The Delano is rumored to be one of Madonna's hang out spots and it shows. I think it's actually a Philippe Stark hotel - is very sleek - and is definitely a place where the beautiful people (e.g. not me) hang out.
The restaurant is pleasant - you travel through the extensive and stunning lobby to get there. Once seated, you are bathed in white everything, including a garish white chandelier.
The food is good - but not out of this world - which is a little disappointing. It's on the low end of pricey, so it you are price sensitive, there are better choices in South Beach. But - if you like a nice high end meal, in a super hip setting, surrounded by very attractive people, go for it.
