This is a branch of the infamous Merriman's in Waimea. I guesss that would explain the limited selection on the menu. For some reason, nothing really seemed to appeal--the pastas all sounded run of the mill (I expected more from Merriman's) and what was left was overpriced. I ended up getting the appetizer sampler and that definitely ended up being the way to go, especially since I had filled up on bread and olive oil because the service was so inanely slow. But the olive oil was the best I've had in a long time, the hummus was fresh and my husband said his basic pasta was good. And the waitress was kind enough to bring us a little sample of the ice creams before we ordered dessert.
