Although the library itself is gorgeous after renovations a few years ago, the organization and selection is disappointing. Books are often misplaced or shelved haphazzardly. The selection is poor and many items must be ordered from other libraries. The staff is extremely rude and obnoxious. It also makes no sense to me that Long Island's largest school district would only have one public library, when nearby Middle Country has at least two locations. The only good things about this library are that it belongs to SuffolkWeb (and you can order stuff from the other libraries) and some of its programs.
