Lucky Garden is a much better alternative to Top's if you're looking for Chinese. I especially like their Pepper Chicken, which is similar to Pepper Steak but made with Chicken instead. It's not found at a lot of Chinese take-out restaurants, so that right there is a plus!
During the lunch hours (11-3), Lucky Garden has a buffet for under $5, even on the weekends. The buffet is small but contains most of what you're looking for when you want Chinese food. Go early, or the food won't be fresh, though if they're busy, they do restock it more often.
Even if you don't order off of their lunch menu, their prices aren't bad and the portion sizes (if you eat in) are huge. Stay away from the Kung Pow Chicken though. Trust me.
