This is a sweater shop. The wool from these sweaters comes from the alpaca, which looks like a llama and lives in the Himalayas. The wool from this animal is exquisitely soft and warm. The sweaters here are all handmade and range from thick to very thick! Some with zippers and hoods, others that button up. I have two of them and when it's chilly or cold, out they come! They can take the place of a winter coat - they are that warm! The only drawback, besides the bulk of the sweater, is that due to the handmade nature and large weave of the wool, over time they do unravel a bit and need a little mending. However, you just take it down to the shop and the lady there will fix it for you while you wait.
