Our experience with The Children's Center has been wonderful. It provides care for infants through 6 years old, part time or full time. The transition room for 2.5 to 3 year olds (depending on the child) is great for learning and enforcing potty training, individual and group play, and boosting children's awareness and self-esteem.
They use Montessori methods in their teaching. All the kids seem very happy and well fed (Capital Health Systems provides healthy breakfasts, snacks, and lunch). In the summertime, the children enjoy lots of outdoor play, water play, and field trips to area parks. Their outdoor play areas are vast and the kids seem to enjoy it immensely.
This center is Abott for Trenton and by pay scale for area families. It is operated through Capital Health systems. I consider it a good preschool with its loving and knowledgeable teachers, fun activities, and cheerful administrators.
