Good: Albrecht and Son was very expensive and at first we looked around for other bids. As we met other contractors, we began to see qualities in Tom that justified the costs. He was always courteous and never talked down to us as ignorant uninformed people. He was happy to talk details. He was always promt, timely and his staff and designer assistant were great. Constantly guiding us along with choices and direction. Informing us of every move and offering us advise. They were never worried about any compitition. Bad: The price, they were expensive. It seemed odd that others were so much less. However, when Tom gave us insight as to reasons and we thought about it, it made sense. When a true apples to apples comparioson was made, no one was better than Albrecht and Son for all our needs. I am glad we kept listening to TOm and not our fear of price. Besides, he gave us a discount on; on our second job. Yes, we went with them and did more work later.. Improvements: Albrecht has everything built in the company to make the whole experience wonderful. Maybe they should grow bigger and do more things in the company because the only hickup we had was do to a subcontractor hired and it caused us to have to delay for a day. But Albrecht made everything right and saw us through. by the middle of the project, we were worry free.. Other: I would tell you to certainly weigh your options and have a budget. But if you are like us, no ability to do any work ourselves, busy with retirement and want to have someone else do EVERYTHING, check into ALbrecht and SOn. They work for you long after the job is done, money well spent.
