Il Vicino is an italian restaurant located in east Wichita... in my opinion it is the best italian restaurant in Wichita. It has a little different set-up than your traditional restaurant-- you order before you even sit down... but this method works surprisingly well. The service is outstanding and the ambiance is very classy and chic. There is usually no wait for a table, yet it always has a steady flow of traffic. All of the menu items are very reasonable for such a nice restaurant. Try the Panino Casino -- it is my favorite sandwhich on the menu! Bring the family, your date or even your boss... this restaurant is just great all around! I would highly recommend it.
