As a kid, I visited Dr. Baker's office. My front teeth were really jacked up after a face-first fall onto asphalt, and one of them needed to be removed (why my parents couldn't just wait for that stupid tooth to fall out, I don't know).
The numbing injection was pretty painful, but I suppose that's to be expected. Dr. Baker removed the tooth fairly quickly, but to be honest, I didn't feel any less scared than if I had visited any other dentist. Dr. Baker is a pediatric dentist, but I suppose that if you're a scared kid, you're a scared kid, and nothing will change that.
