We've been looking for a great Chinese restaurant and just found Lucky Dragon at 7979 Auburn Blvd in Citrus Heights. They serve Mandarin, Szechuan, and Hunan cuisines. I ordered the Sesame Chicken with fried rice lunch plate and my companion had the Orange Chicken with chowmein plate.
We were first served a delicious hot soup. The lunch plates came with an eggroll and choice of steamed rice, fried rice or chow mein.
Both chicken dishes were made with lightly breaded breasts. They both had just the right amount of spiciness. The eggrolls were crisp and lightly brown. They were not greasy. Each dish was accompanied with by an orange quarter.
The servers were exceptionally friendly. The restaurant was very clean. Neither of us used the restroom. We will definitely return.
