I was grateful to find a plumber available the Saturday before Christmas, and expected to pay an additional charge because most plumbers are not available on Saturdays, BUT---the “Emergency Charge” was $199.99,
in addition to the service charges for the work, which was a few minutes of auguring a clogged toilet,
total cost to me was $408.50.
I would have been okay paying up to $100. plus
work costs, not $200.
