I was quoted two days (happy) then two and a half (well, ok) then three (not happy) then three and a half ( really not happy) then three for certain. And it took three and a half days. Those who make schedule promises need to adopt more realistic expectations about getting a major project done, to not have unhappy clients. To use your catchphrase: you would have had a smiling client if the workload had better matched the promised schedule.
