Two friends and I just stayed at the Rodeway Inn in Imperial, CA on a dove hunting trip to area fields. We had ""garden view"" twin queen rooms. The staff at the inn (David) was great. He had the rooms cooled down in the 100 degree plus heat for our arrival Friday evening after we had been out dove hunting. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable (although the pillows were a little thin and should be supplemented by at least one extra pillow for each bed). The little room refrigerator was nice to have. The expansive grassy area out front of rooms was great for the dog to stretch his legs. He stayed in the room in a travel kennel while we headed into town for great Mexican food dinner at the Guadalajara Grill on Adams. (Breakfast the next morning at Celia's, also on Adams.) The dove cleaning tables and trash bins were near our rooms and were much appreciated. We were able to park right near the rooms for easy loading and unloading. We got a 10 percent discount for our AAA memberships. Will definitely be coming back.
