Editorial review from Citysearch 9/12/2016

I purchased John Conners services in 2005 when I was trying to get a federal job or an upper level position. He made promises of developing a greatly enhanced resume - much better then the one I showed him. This was a false promise as the resume was no better then the one I had already and in my opinion not as good. I ended up using my own because I thought it was more professional. In Hindsight I was very foolish to believe he would be able to come up with fantastic resume that would help me. He charged me 1,000 dollars with the promise that I would have unlimited help from career pro for as long as it took while offering career coaching, networking, and other things which I can no longer remember. He talks a good game, but way too good to be true in fact. He tells you what you want to hear and plays on your vulnerabilities, as he is ultimately after only one thing- YOUR MONEY!!\r I think of him now as kind of a legal con artist. Like some other reviews have stated- he seems more interested in getting your money and then his interest in your situation decreases rapidly and he will try to do the bare minimum while being polite, but seemingly trying to get rid of you quickly. I came back to see him in 2006 since I was already paid up for his so called services. At that time he seemed more interested in getting me to join his home based multi level marketing business, where I would purchase products and he would get a percentage, then he was in my professional career or in helping me. As a Military veteran who served honorably in the USMC I expected more, much, much more, and am greatly disappointed in Johns greed, and how he financially capitalizes at the expense of others. I am motivated to write this review so other hard working Americans, who are trying hard to further themselves, ESPECIALLY VETERANS, wont be taken advantage of! I saw these other reviews and felt bad that others had been taken advantage of like I had so I wanted to post thisl I paid 1000 dollars basically for having my resume redone which was a cut and paste job of the resume I already gave him. I also received a book on how to get a federal job- a good book, which while useful probably was well under 100 dollars. I\r \r Again, I am just trying to help prevent anyone else from falling victim so you can email me at sdj.securpro@yahoo.com and ask me anything you want. My name is Steve Jackson. Thank you veterans!! more
