This was our first stop on our family road trip and the hotel was AWESOME! It's out a ways from the downtown area (which was really nice for us) yet still close to everything. The room was large, clean and very comfortable for our family of four (with two teenage boys). The pool was nice and sparkly clean, the game room kept the boys busy and the free breakfast was the best I've had in quite some time! Not only the typical waffle irons, but a pancake maker, sausage, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, various pastry items, cold cereal as well as a couple different types of juice & of course coffee :) \r
Even though we were only there for one night, Sunday August 14th, if I ever find myself in Des Moines again, this will be my only go-to hotel!
