An oasis is what I found at the Days Inn in Rawlins. I stopped first at several of the other chain hotels, but they were not able to accommodate my request for a lower level room, safe parking and amenities. When checking it at Days Inn I asked for a ground floor room, and they fixed me right up with a room near entry door so I didn't have to lug my luggage a long way or wait for a slow elevator. Room clean and fresh. Restaurant was nice, and wifi fast. Great artwork in the lobby. Had a bar too. And a swimming pool, clean. I found an oasis after the flat windy desert on I-80 of Wyoming, and priced right.
