We recently had our 2nd annual maintenance visit for our furnace which was installed by Specialty Heating and Cooling November/December 2013. While our original dealings with the company were overwhelmingly positive, our recent experience left us feeling let down. We were happy enough with the service technician, but we were displeased that the company did not as a matter of good business practice bring a replacement filter. The visit cost us a couple hundred dollars and yet after our furnace was serviced we still had to call the main office and arrange to pick up (& pay for) a new filter at a later time. Then the gentleman in the office was unable to find our order after we had been told we could come pick it up. He was not very friendly. It was a rather disappointing overall experience. Next time we will know that we are expected to take care of the details ourselves. To add an exclamation point to the experience, a week after the appointment the furnace started telling us that it was time for our annual maintenance appointment.
