I thought Dr. Gentry was great. I was expecting to have to wait far longer than I did, so I grateful to get in and out in a reasonable timeframe. She listened and she was thorough in her suggestions and evaluation. I would have liked her to delve more into my family and health history to uncover issues I might not have thought impt to raise, but she did address my short list of questions very well. I am grateful. The nurse or practitioner who took my vitals, however, was terrible!. She was obviously having a bad day because her mood was foul, she was curt, and visibly annoyed. I didn't think it was directed at me as the patient, but given this was my first visit, I was reluctant to ask her questions or do anything to be on the receiving end of her funk. Not sure what was going on, and we all have challenging days, but her inability to put on her game face/demeanor for the patient demonstrated a lack of professional maturity. When researching Dr. Gentry as a GYN, I noticed similar comments about the staff from others on independent reviews, so it might be an issue worth addressing.
