Our poor dog got heat exhaustion which resulted in him developing an ulcer and vomiting blood. My husband rushed him in and they got to work on him right away while he started paperwork.\r
I felt like all the treatments and tests they used were necessary and not just ""tacked on"" to make a buck. They ran a test so not to give an unnecessary and costly blood transfusion (which he didn't need and saved us the money) but did not feel the need to run an endoscopy (saving us 600-800 dollars) because he was responding to the ulcer treatment and confirming her diagnosis. The staff was caring and thorough in their instructions to us when he was ready to come home. Dr. Nagle is a WONDERFUL vet whose love for animals is very apparent.\r
Yes, it cost us a lot, but it was quality emergency care and worth every penny.
