I just had my air conditioner repaired by your tech Henry Pecere. I am VERY UPSET AND CONCERNED with the work. I have a service contract with J Maloney & Son that I purchased on December 14, 2014. I am a Gold Prime service member and have been for 8 years. Henry stated my contract would not be honored by your company that he said took over in November of 2014. I did not purchase the agreement till December 19th so I feel I purchased this from your company. Henry came out to service the air conditioner on Friday May 30th at 7:30 pm. He stated it was the motor and would cost me almost four hundred dollars. He said he would email his boss and get back to me on Saturday morning. I called the office on Saturday morning and was told by a woman in the office my contract was valid and Henry would be in touch. I waited till one thirty pm. and called him on the cell phone number on my caller ID. He said he was busy on a job and would rig the motor till he could get a new one on Monday morning. I told him I did not want that and would wait till Monday. I also stated no one would be home on Monday till after three in the afternoon. He said he would be here. On Monday at six I called and he said he did not pick up the motor and would be here on Tuesday morning. My husband waited and at ten called him and said he had a doctors appointment and what time would he be here. He said after five pm. At five thirty pm I called and he said he did not have the motor yet and would be here on Wednesday. After waiting all day on Wednesday a women from the office called around five and said Henry was running late on a job and would be here first thing Thursday morning to install the motor. On Thursday morning he did arrive early but he did not install a motor. He rigged up the motor and put on a different part. He also charged my husband $49.00 for a service call. I have called a heater and air conditioning service and explained this to them and they said that on the first hot day the motor is probably going to go. I would like to know where the motor is that took him four days to get and why he did not fix this on Friday if it was not the motor. I had been in touch at least three or four different times with your office during this week. Henry was very rude and stated to me on Friday that he did not feel contracts should be honored "that is how a company loses money". My contract covered everything including the parts, repair and service call. I feel I am being taken over for the forty nine dollars and also the motor. I would like someone to get back to me as soon as possible. I am giving your company the chance to fix this problem before I take it further. We are senior citizens and feel we have been used.
